My new mob would be for the nether update. It would be like a ghast but black overall with soul fire blue instead of grey on the highlights. They would also have black tentacles, like a ghast, but as they get longer, the turn to a blue particle effect. They would spawn exclusively in soul sand valleys, to replace ghasts. They would have the same animation and sounds as a ghast, minus "Ghast Moans" "Ghast Shoots" "Ghast Hurts", and "None". They would shoot fireballs, but a different type. This fireball would have the texture of an "Ender Dragon Fireball" or "Ender Acid Ball", with blue replacing the purple in the texture. Instead of creating fire, or inflicting Harming ||, but The Lingering Potion Of Decay Ext., with one third of the radius. It is classed as a Wither Mob, Like a Wither Skeleton and The Wither. It will attack any mob that is not a Wither Skeleton or Wither. If the mob that is attacked is already undead, the mob would turn into a Wither Skeleton after five seconds of shaking and emitting black potion particles.If not, it will die after the decay kills it. It would have a ten second cooldown between shots, and two shots will not create decay ||. However, the duration will be added up. Its health would be sixteen points. Being a more lethal version of a ghast, it can detect any target from up to 125 blocks. See the comments for the rest of the story.

    It is especially hostile against The Ender Dragon, Endermen, Endermites, and Shulkers, and can detect them from up to 150 blocks. While one of these creatures is targeted, its firing cooldown is reduced by 5 seconds. Despite being a Non-Undead mob, it is not targeted by the wither. It drops gunpowder and diluted ghast tears, which create two regeneration potions and one decay potion. When a Gheist is under any status effect, it does not emit potion particles, but it does change the color of the potion particles creating the tips of its tentacles. They are immune to the wither effect. Gheists are also immune to fire damage, but still appear to be on soul fire. When in this state, its fireballs spread soul fire to a random five blocks out of a three by three radius, regardless if the blocks are soul sand or soil.
