Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Enchanted Gems

These gems would come out of new blocks found underground. The blocks, called "Chanting Stone" would drop a random Enchanted Gem that could be used as an alternative to Lapis at an Enchanting Table. They would increase your chances at getting a certain enchantment, or maybe rarer gems give new ones.

This would be a cool way to add new ores and unique enchantments that encourage mining.

What if the Enchanted Gems were just the regular ores that we have diamond, iron, gold but they come with a enchantment already set. So when you craft armor or tools with them the enchantment is on the newly crafted equipment.
