Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Splash Potion of Lighting - Lights up blocks so mobs don't spawn

What is it?

 

A splash potion you throw at the ground or other blocks to make them stay lit until you destory them.

 

Why should it be added?

1) Sometimes it's nice not having a bunch of torches or other lit blocks all over the place.

2) This would allow for a good way to ensure those blocks are at the right light levels for

hostile mobs to not spawn on them. You can splash it while it's dark and it would immediately 

appear to be lit by the sun mid day.

 

How should it be added?

A potion you can craft by adding a thick splash potion (made with glowstone dust) and glowstone dust in a crafting table. The effect lasts forever or until the block is broken.

    I think that torches can add to a build. However, if you don’t want mobs spawning in a place you can use lanterns or on Bedrock apparently slabs have weird lighting physics so you could theoretically use slabs to light up a place without using torches or other light blocks.
