I'm building a cool dark nether base! Just let me grab my CHISELLED POLISHED BLACKSTONE BRICKS... I mean, sorry but what? I think that Minecraft needs a better naming system, and I think I've come up with a good idea: What about instead of having blocks like ,"cracked stone bricks" or "infested chiselled stone bricks", we added a second line to the naming system? The first line will have the base block, like stone bricks, and on the second line, you add the variant, you can even adds third line for a subvariant. In that way you change infested chiselled stone bricks into "stone bricks" with on the second line, in smaller text "chiselled" and on the third line, in maybe text the same size or smaller text: "infested". You can change all your polished Blackstone brick variants into things like: First line: "Blackstone bricks" Second line (In smaller text): "stairs" or "chiselled" or "cracked" or the other variants of Blackstone bricks. In that way you can keep both the creative and the survival inventory a more organized place.
