Creeper explosions should drop all items from the broken blocks

creepers that explode should behave the same way tnt does on java where all tile drops are not fully destroyed

    I was under the impression this was intentional so you couldn't just use creepers for mining. I'd be interested if anyone could confirm or deny that.

    Yup needs adding along with coordinates when you die.

    Creepers are hostile mobs.  This feature would allow them to be used like tools, which I don't think is a good idea.

    Agree, but only works with player placed blocks. For example, if one were to blow up in your house, the blocks you placed to make your house would drop every block placed by a player, but naturally generated blocks not placed by a player would still drop as they used to do. So you could rebuild the damage of your house, but you could not use creepers as a tool for mining, as not all ores broken would get dropped.

    I literally need this
    I lost a stack of coal before because of a creeper explosion, and I never have enough dirt to properly fill up creeper holes.

    Just no. That's the point. The fact that you dont get 100% of the blocks back is an intended feature.

    Dude I agree. It shouldn't be a dice roll to see if you get blocks! I came on to see weather or not someone also suggested this because a creeper exploded all of my stuff and nothing dropped, I mean nothing no blocks on the ground nothing. what makes it worse is that creepers don't have any idle or movement sounds so the only sound they make is the like half a second hiss before the explode

    Its the most annoying thing in the game in my opinion. I don't care if they explode my stuff if I don't have to remake half the blocks in my wall.
