Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Layer snow on top of note blocks to adjust octave

We should be able to put snow layers on top of note blocks to change the octave.

Putting a single layer on top of the block would decrease the pitch all the way down to the lowest octave. Each additional layer jumps to the next octave.

I think this would be an interesting method of implementing note block octave changes, while still keeping that vanilla feel of using various materials to change your notes.

    This is a great idea, as note blocks are broken in the game right now, missing several qualities needed to make an actual song. However, there should also be a note block interface which lets you adjust the note, (currently I need to look up a website to know the note) but also the speed, duration, and volume of the note. You could also suggest a block that lets you save songs onto records to make in-game soundtracks without clearing out large areas for the Redstone mechanism. This honestly needs to be considered by Developers as it would make custom maps better when not using resource packs.
