Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

16 colored plain luminous blocks

I think it would be great if we had a new type of block that would be luminous and coming in 16 color variations, and most importantly, plain like concrete.

These blocks would be great for modern or futuristic buildings for example. They would be useful for pixel art, making pictures glowing in the dark like giant screens, and for lighting up structures discreetly.

Here is an idea of how we could obtain these blocks. In the context of a cave update, there could be giant glowing mushrooms that could be dyed to obtain all color versions of our lighting plain blocks. But this is secondary and I don’t care if Mojang finds another way to include luminous pixel blocks! That’s why I don’t include that in the original post. Suggest your own ideas in the comments.
