I have nothing against the level intros but once I played through the game on the first difficulty I started skipping all of them. You can skip them instantly once they start but that is still one more step which gets really annoying after time.
That's why the option to always skip them would be nice. Of course the option would be off by default and maybe even hidden until you finished the first difficulty.
