Piglins should not hunt hoglins

It's obvious the Piglins evolved from Hoglins since they're the only two species of pig in the nether. It doesn't make sense that they would want to eat their evolutionary ancestors. Also the baby Piglins ride the hoglins? So are they pets or wild game? I think the Piglins should just be vegetarian and eat mushrooms. Maybe the Piglins train the Hoglins to hunt for Truffles. Please don't make them kill the hoglins, it's so violent sad.

    Actually, they don't want to hunt them to extinction, it's more of an ecosystem.

    The piglins didn't evolve from hoglins there must have been another mob that evolved into piglins but there are no more of them now

    Piglins didn’t evolve from Hoglins: if anything, both of them evolved from pigs and became adapted to the Nether. Also, I can’t imagine Piglins being vegetarian. I think Piglins killing Hoglins makes the Nether feel more alive and interesting rather than Piglins using them to look for mushrooms (which you can find virtually anywhere in Nether Waste biomes). If you find Piglins hunting Hoglins “violent” and “sad” then you evidently don’t watch many animal documentaries.
