Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Permanent Maps

I would like to see a map that doesn't show a location marker and doesn't update after first using it, allowing you to change the area without the map changing. This would be great for things like map art, seeing base history or seeing what the natural landscape looked like before you destroyed it with out worry of the map updating or having to store it in a far off location.

    That is already a vanilla feature. You put your map and a glass pane in the cartography table and it locks it.
