Fallen Trees currently do not generate in the Mega Taiga, but they generate in all other forest biomes. This seems quite strange, since Mega Taiga trees are the largest tree, and would make the most unique log. The fallen Mega Taiga Tree would be similar to Redwood Trees due to size and biome.
The fallen tree would generate with a 2x2 podzol border to ensure clean generation. mushrooms would generate on this podzol. The stump of the fallen tree would be hollow and have stripped spruce logs lining part of the inside, and cobwebs would also be inside the stump. The log itself would also be hollow and be populated with cobwebs. Podzol would have a 2% chance of replacing any log blocks exposed to the sky.
I think this feature would add life to the Mega Taiga biome and give players a new structure to look for on their adventures. It would also be a visually interesting structure to give players ideas for builds.
Images, Top to bottom:
A larger fallen tree generating on a lake (Podzol generating underwater as a base for the tree)

The inside of the trunk. Many spiderwebs generate and the middle is very dark.
The Stump of the tree. stripped spruce logs would make up the middle parts of the stump.
A smaller fallen tree at night
Extreme example of a fallen tree on a cliff. This is a very extreme example, and it would be far more likely for a fallen tree to generate on mostly flat ground. This problem could be avoided by not allowing fallen trees to generate on Mega Taiga Hills (the biome).
