Desolate plains

The desolate plains would be an overworld biome that would be a spinoff of the normal plains biome. The desolate plains would contain dead trees with no leaves and the grass would be a dark brown color. Upon entering this biome, the sky would turn a pale white color. Crows would fly overhead and would not be hostile to the player. Ruined villages would be common and would be filled with zombie villagers and ghouls. Ghouls would be a new type of mob that would only attack the player after he sees them. When killed they would ghoul souls that could be used in making potions that would allow the player to walk through walls for a limited time. The desolate plains would be an amazing addition to the game and open the doorway for new adventures.

Wow! A really good idea, I love the ghoul potion! It could be called the potion of vexation, cause vexes can go through blocks.
