Expandable fence gates and trap doors

Can you please add a mechanic which allows us to expand fence gates and trap doors this will make it more convenient and prettier because a lot of people use double fence gates and double trapdoors and it is inconvenient, thank you very much

    You can fix all of these problems with a bit of redstone.

    You can't fix the visual ugliness with redstone. Fence gates should work like doors. This has been an issue for a long time. It needs fixed.

    Gates place side by side should automatically turn into a two block wide gate!! Like doors flip when placed side by side, chests connect when placed side by side. We should have that option for gates also!! :)
