Broken Netherite Items

Netherite tools and armour should have a broken state, such as the elytra when it breaks.

At the stage in the game when a player has gotten netherite tools, they have probably advanced enough through the game where constantly attempting to get new tools is just an annoying necessity (which is why mending has been added). However, mending doesn't stop when a player simply doesn't notice their tool about to be broken, and I think netherite is difficult enough to get warrant having the same broken feature as elytra.

Alternatively, tools should simply have different textures that make it more obvious instead of just the bar, and an armour hud should be created so the player can see if it's about to break without needing to constantly check their inventory.

Whoever made this post or anyone else, please check out GreenJab's channel. He made a mod where he addresses issues like this in a beautiful way.
Enchanting, Transportation, Villager tweaks, renewable sand, fixes for so many aspects of the game. So, do us all favor and check it out for our self, and if you think it's cool, please share it.

(Edit) By the way he added everything you wanted to his mod. Except for the tools I think.
