New enchantment for the compass called seeker 1,2 or 3. If the player held out the compass with the enchantment and there was a Village, Bastion, Nether Fortress,Outposts near by the compass would make a ding noise towards the direction of the Village, Bastion, Nether Fortress,Outpost and get louder and faster the closer you got, but it will have a range of which it could detect it. For seeker 1 the range would be 200 blocks, for 2 it would be 600 and for 3 it would be 1000. The only way to get it would be from a cartographer max level.
Im not too sure but maybe it could also detect End city too.
