Ice Floes!

What are Ice Floes?

Ice floes are chunks of ice in frozen oceans, polar bears are seen on them, and even arctic foxes! The biome consists of a 2-meter thick packed ice sheet with random large holes. 
Why would you go there? 

Arctic Foxes spawn there, and so do polar bears. Salmon also spawn there. Because of the ice and icebergs, shipwrecks would generate more often in this biome.

    This is a great idea. However, I feel that if you changed your idea to make it add something new into the game, it would be better since we already have biomes like this in Minecraft

    Ice floes might generate on edges of rivers in cold biomes and cold oceans instead of ice blocks, so that it feels more natural. An ice floe breaks when you fall on it from 3 blocks high or more, or after jumping on it a few times. Besides adding a new aspect of exploring cold biomes, it improves the cosmetics and realism :)
