Spider proof block

As a minecraft nerd I often try to help people troubleshoot their farms. My friend has a spider XP farm which is very inefficient as the spiders just climb straight out of the killing chamber. We have tried many methods to stop the spiders such as putting signs on the sides of the chamber this didn't work and neither did  any other methods, so it would be very useful to have certain block that spiders/cave spiders cannot climb.

    I like the idea of blocks that spiders can't climb but there is a simpler solution to that particular problem: add a roof.

    Maybe ice blocks and ice variants could be used to stop them from climbing. I don't really how spiders can climb ice anyway.

    basterebbe rendere il ghiaccio (dato che è scivoloso) il blocco che i ragni non possono salire
