Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Black stone slabs should be able to craft grindstones.

This would allow you to acquire an enchanting table entirely within the nether, without needing to go to the overworld. If you can get a grindstone that would allow you to disenchant soul speed books, allowing you to get a book for an enchanting table. This would be a neat feature making it so in nether only runs you can still enchant stuff.

    Given how rare those books are, that seems like hands-down the most unnecessarily difficult thing to do, but I'll upvote anyway since blackstone might as well be able to do that. Although the idea of a black grindstone also has a kind of appeal.

    I agree literally just so I can disenchant soul speed books without needing to go to the overworld. Also allow us to craft stonecutters with blackstone, because it wouldn't hurt at all.

    I was thinking a black grindstone would look really cool too, but i understand that might be a lot of effort for such a small feature. But man that could be really cool in builds. This is mostly for convenience though. I just came up with the idea after watching a video on nether only runs.
