Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Emeralds and pure emeralds

I've noticed that there are some people have been creating ideas about emerald armor which would be very strong,which makes some sense,but then others argue about how you can get them from villagers.I'm pretty sure someone else came up with this idea a few years ago,but something happened.(I don' t know where that went)I just wanted to see if we could get this idea running.Basically,there would be 2 types of emerald.One emerald is a villagers average emerald,which would simpily be named "Emerald".The second type would be the mined type,which would be named "Pure emerald".Now,the pure emerald can be crafted into armor and stuff,but not the basic emerald.This means that emerald armor would be rare,because the common type is only tradeable.So now emerald armor can be around the teir of diamond and rare.A full suit of the stuff can make you 80 to 90%immune to illager attacks,but your armor will still take damage. But with the addition of netherite,differnt armor and weapons are getting a little to out of control,so this idea may seem crazy,but I think it would satisfy some users.

    Emerald ore is actually rarer than ancient debris, but because you need 4 ancient debris to craft a netherite ingot, Netherite is rarer. It's a good idea though.

    Unless it provides some sort of bonus, it's just going to be another armor tier players skip over.

    And if it provides a bonus like gold does for piglins, then the only piece worth crafting would be boots, just to get the bonus.

    Maybe not immune to illager attacks, Neel Bose, maybe 80% or 90% immune, or it would be too overpowered. (Player with emerald armor goes into a woodland mansion: "Oi dudes, gimme all your stuff, or I'll kill all of you." Vindicator and Evoker laughs in his/her face. "Ha Ha Ha, that's so funny!" Player runs at vindicator, and hits him with his sword. Vindicator uses his axe. Player takes no damage whatsoever, and kills vindicator. Evoker summons 3 vexes, they swoop down on the player, dealing what should have been 19.5 hearts of damage. Player swipes at the vexes, unharmed. Evoker runs away crying.)
