When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

You need to understand. Me and my dad know that. We want to make it look cool. Pushing the 3×3 to the side would be boring. We want it to be visually interesting. Having it move would be so visually appealing as the chain of light broke from the flick of a lever. You see what we're getting at?

True that beacons contain obsidian. That's yet another block that you should be able to push with pistons. Just because it's hard doesn't mean it's heavy. We already know that the laws of gravity Minecraft are unnatural. There is no reason why pistons shouldn't be able to accomplish such a task.

I was going to push my friends beacon away from their base in our server with a flying machine, didn't work.

I think that moveable block/tile entities should be added to the game (there are a few problems, but they could be worked out). However, there are multiple solutions at the moment.

    1. Other people already said this, but move the 3x3 base blocks.

    2. Push a solid block on top of the beacon beam. This is a much better solution as it doesn't make you sacrifice another material for the effect again.
