Lodestone Compass in Multiplayer

As a player on a multiplayer server, I'd love to see a new way to use lodestone and compasses to attune a compass to an individual player. Currently, you could find their base, as it could point to a lodestone. But, I'd like another new functionality where you could also point to a player directly. It could be used in PvP, or just to meet up with your friends. It would serve as an intuitive alternative to giving someone coordinates to find you. Perhaps a player can put a compass and lodestone in a crafting grid and get an enchanted compass texture that points to the crafter. This way, the feature must be accepted by the participants.
