Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Soul Concrete

Soul concrete would be concrete that could be made in the Nether. Soul concrete would be like concrete, except instead of using sand in the recipe, you use soul sand. You get soul concrete powder, which you have to place next to lava to convert into the hardened concrete. This concrete wouldn't be able to be destroyed by ghasts, and it is also fire resistant, but TNT can still destroy it, making soul concrete compatible with TNT blast chambers. The block would have a shiny, metallic look to it. To get different colors, you craft the gravel and soul sand with either crimson fungus for red, warped fungus for blue, glowstone powder for yellow, bonemeal for white, coal for black, magma cream for orange, and ender eye for cyan.

    It doesn't really seem like concrete at that point. Soul Crystal? Soulstone?

    If the gravel is replaced by netherrack, the logic could be that the two fires have some kind of interaction, and that would mean players could save on gravel for normal concrete. Although that might make the materials too easy to get ahold of for what it is unless some other material was added.
