Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Detris and related items should be used in Minecraft.

Detris is a layer of leaf litter with 2distinct categories: old and new. It is found in all forest variants but with different amounts; oak, dark oak and spruce have the most detris, while acacia and jungle trees have less.

When you break detris with a shovel, and only A SHOVEL will it drop falling leaves. Falling leaves can be used for wind sensitivity potions. Wind sensitivity potions are used to be easily picked up by the wind . However, the effect will continue until you eat something . Detris could easily hide secret entrances. Also, crafting 9 falling leaves or 3 detris will make a block of detris. Detris may spawn earthworms.

    Other than hiding secret entrances, detris can be used for making an earthworm farm. Earthworms can also live in a composter, which will increase the composters efficiency.
