Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Enchanted books should have a chance to drop when you mine a bookshelf

I think that it would be cool if you mined a bookshelf with a non-silk-touch axe, that you have a very rare chance to get drops of enchanted books, to add to the loot-table. One reason why you should add this is because it can't be exploited, because in order for you to get the rare drop, you would need to keep crafting bookshelves, which also consume wood along with the other books.

    It could still be exploited becasue wood is infinite and you can literally find a village and explode it and you’ll get more wood than you know what to do with.
    to make it more fair I suggest that this would only work with naturally spawning bookshelves and not ones crafted by the player

    But at that point you are crafting something, in order to make the book shelf you need a leather farm, a sugar cane farm, and a wood farm.
    They don't drop an equal amount of books anyway.

    And plus if you are mining it with silk touch then you are just going to get a bookshelf.
