Nether Portals Merging into the obsidian, Turning it into Crying Obsidian

Following the added Portal Ruin structure, that has some Crying Obsidian where Obsidian was or should be, I Think Portals should have some more Lore. Maybe there could be a very very slight chance that a Nether Portal would break itself and some obsidian would observe the portal, and would turn into crying obsidian.

Another Idea I just thought of, because the portal breaking itself randomly would be just silly. Maybe If the player breaks a Portal, Some Obsidian would absord it and turn into Crying obsidian.
