Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Soul Bloom (Image Included)

The Nether is now a unique place to live in Minecraft, but does not have nearly as much opportunity for decoration as the overworld. New flowers may also open new brewing opportunities.

  • Soul Blooms grow in the Soul Sand Valley on Soul Soil. This may be brewed to the Potion of Souls, which increases the spawn rate of mobs around the player.

    I really like the effect of the soul blossom. If the player goes to the nether and finds a soul blossom, it could be a sign that there are or there may be mobs around. Nice idea!

    Making mob spawning a potion effect is not a good idea. Neither is flowers in the nether

    I like the idea, but the potion effect doesn't fit in my opinion. Maybe if the soul blossom was present in an area, then that area would have increased mob spawning. I'm not all on par with that idea, but maybe this flower could be used to brew potions of nausea?
