New obsidian mechanic

As you already know in real life, obsidian breaks with one hand very easily. But in our favorite Minecraft game, 
we can break obsidian only with a diamond pickaxe 
and this, as you know, is not very realistic, 
so here is my idea: obsidian can break with any object at a rug breaking speed, but not a whole block should fall out, 
but from 1 to 3 obsidian pieces and then already from 9 such pieces to make obsidian, 
but not ordinary but cracked and make a portal out of it. When the frame is built and set on fire, 
the cracked obsidian will become weeping because it has absorbed the energy of the portal that has leaked through the cracks in the obsidian, 
but if you build the portal frame from the crying obsidian, it activates itself because the crying obsidian has enough energy to activate the portal, 
but if you build a frame from a regular obsidian, it doesn’t activate even if you set it on fire several times, 
but do you know why? Because the portal energy has nowhere to seep, 
the obsidian is quite solid so the portal energy cannot seep into it.
