Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Map Cropping

You can make maps larger, but not lesser? Why? Let's fix it! (at least conceptually)

 

You'll need shears, a cartography table and the map you wanna crop:

 

Firstly, open cartography table's GUI (obviously), put your map in the top slot and shears in the bottom one
(damaged shears are also suitable)

 

You'll see a small selection box on the map. You can move it by mouse drag & drop or by arrow keys

After you selected a suitable box position, just take the finished map from the slot at right. Voila!
Also, your shears will lost 2 durability points.

 

You can crop your maps up to 64x64, 32x32 and even 16x16 blocks!

    What version does this feature work for?
    I can't use this option in 1.18.2

    This would be great to make map art less time consuming. :D
    Instead of a 128x128 area to cover now it will only be a 64x64 or a 32x32, even a 16x16. Of course at the expense of resolution on the image.
