Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

light in a bottle

Putting glowstone dust in a bottle makes a light in a bottle. This can be used to decorate studyrooms or mystic liars. It help improves the severe lack of light source varieties.

    It could light up the area around you when in your off-hand, and also be placeable like a lantern. It should also be craftable as a lingering light, which you can throw like a splash potion, only the particle effect would glow as a light source.
