Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Use Glostone Dust to infuse blocks

This addresses the lighting issue and is inspired by a suggestion of Cubfan135 (irrc). 

Since we have many new workbenches, which are mostly used for villager trading, it would also add a functionality to one of those.

What if we were able to use the stonecutter to fuse glowstone with other blocks, to make them glow. The stonecutter then would need his interface changed to be able to add glowstone dust. The amaount of dust added determines the lightlevel of the block (1-15).

If we do not want to change the functionality of the stonecutter, lets use the grindstone and add a new item (even smaller glowstone dust?) or just ignore the aspect of the workstations, no need to overcomplicate things. Just make it able to combine glowstone dust with other blocks in the crafting table.

    You could also add redstone to make it so they don't melt ice.
