Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Netherite pick should be faster or should have auto-smelt

The netherite pickaxe is not very good on the speed front.

unechanted you barely notice the difference with diamond and when enchant with eff. V there is literally no difference at all with diamond. It is almost not worth it to mine hours for ancient debris.

you could do one of these two things about it.

1. Make netherite pickaxes faster - should be able to insta-mine stone or insta-mine it with haste 1

2. Let them have an auto-smelt feature. It only works on gold and iron ore and you can combine it with fortune for more gold and iron. This should discourage the use of gold and iron farms

or you can do both...

    I laterally had this same idea and was about to make a suggestion lol. I do think that the auto-smelt idea is good too. I was gonna say that a gold pick mines faster then diamond and sense gold is used to craft netherite ingots, it should mine as fast as a gold pick. I mean, it makes sense right?
