Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Nautilus shell block

To my knowledge, nautilus shells only really have one use; being made into conduits with a heart of the sea.

However, nautilus shells are renewable (via fishing) whilst hearts of the sea are not.

For this reason, it is possible for a player who fishes a lot to end up with an excess of nautilus shells.

Nautilus shells could be given a second use, being used to craft a decorative block, either with the shell's exterior pattern or a more pearl/mother of pearl-like pattern.

    I don't think that you can obtain an excess of nautilus shells in survival Minecraft. Good idea for creative world though.

    I have a tonne of shells but only a few heart of the sea. Can we please have a nautilus shell block?

    I play survival only and I have 2-3 stacks of nautilus shells from killing drowned. I think it would be cool to have nautilus shell come in multiple colors and 4 shells of the same color could be crafted into a crushed seashell block, which would make a great landscaping or path block. The color should be sandy white with hints / fragments of brown and the color of the nautilus shell.

    Hi. That's a good idea. I'd add the ability to loot dead nautilus shells directly from ocean biomes using a Silk Touch pickaxe, and for the shell to be a decorative block that can be used as a flower pot. Personally, I think that would be cool. Don't you?

And I completely agree with those who suggest easily craftable crushed shell blocks and nautilus shells.
