Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Cayennether Peppers (or some better name.)

So. 

You're walking through the nether and you see some Soul Soil near lava; as you get closer, you realise there's something on the Soul Soil:

Cayennether Peppers.

(Everything after this is optional. You would probably ignore the rest.)

- You can grow then like sugar canes next to lava, but they act more like Berry Bushes (they set you on fire instead of poking you.) 

- They can be crafted into Cayennether Powder!

+Cayennether Powder can surround weapons and items so that, for one time only, items can be saved from accidental lava baths 

And finally, Cayennether Peppers by themselves can be eaten, giving the player 2 effects for 30 seconds:

- Fire Resistance 

- NEW EFFECT! Scorching: Your attacks will act like fire aspect for the duration of the effect.

    This is also optional, but it could be made a pair in 1.17 when they update the mountains:

    You're trudging through a Blizzard (possible harmful new weather.) Suddenly, you see a bush half-buried in the growing snow pile ahead. What is it?

    That's right; Chilledates.

    (These next parts are just things I imagine Mojang implementing if the Chilledates are a hit.) They can be found on the peaks of mountains in the large snow piles, and can be harvested like regular Sweet Berries to get the Chilledate fruit. And here's what it (could) do!

    It can only be grown on snow.

    When eaten, two things could happen for 30 seconds:

    - NEW EFFECT! Lightweight acts like slow falling, gives the ability to walk on water and lets you traverse over Deep Snow (new "snowier snow" that acts like quicksand), but disables activation of pressure plates and halves damage done to other entities.

    - NEW EFFECT! Frost Burn causes every hit you make (for the duration of the potion) to give the Slowness effect to the targeted entity.
