I think that the Protection IV enchantment is too overpowered. While offering a 64% damage reduction from everything, it outshines the 80% damage resistance other enchantments offer. I propose keeping the Protection enchantment, however limiting it to 40-50% reduction. To balance this, a "Melee protection" enchantment should exist, capped at 64% resistance. I feel this would create incentive for using Blast/Fire/Projectile protection. As well as this, I believe there should be another protection enchantment that combines blast and projectile, since there are only like 5 mobs that inflict these damage types called "Special Protection," which along with the "Melee Protection" would cap at 64%.
I think this would bring to light the other forms of protection offered, and should be introduced to the game.
