Decay Meal would be an item which would fix a major problem with resource gathering in 1.16 - wart blocks not decaying after you've cut down the tree. Mojang tried to fix this by making hoes efficient for clearing away the blocks, and admittedly, this does work... with a Efficiency V Netherite Hoe. The trees are so thick and dense that almost no player will devote their time to rid an area of floating wart blocks.
Decay Meal is an item designed for that specific purpose. When you use Decay Meal on a naturally generated wart block it and other wart blocks in a radius (as long as they are touching) will have black particles begin to fall from them. These particles signify that a wart block will now slowly decay over time, just like regular leaves. Decay Meal would be crafted by combining Bone Meal and Soul Soil.
This feature would help out players massively if they want to build in a Warped or Crimson Forest, but don't want to tediously break every wart block in a large area. There's really no reason why a player should be forced to do that as it just artificially adds more gameplay time which could be spent doing something else.
