Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

While that does sound interesting, what functional purpose would it grant? If it is indeed supposed to act in the exact same way, would it not make more sense to simply add that as a secondary crafting recipe for the same block? Although a darker brewing stand would indeed look nice, I doubt Mojang would make a second block that serves the exact same purpose as the first, especially with such a small texture change.

The problem of not being able to make potions in the nether would still persist due to the lack of water.

I'd vote to completely change the recipe from cobblestone to blackstone, meaning you have to seek out this new block in one of the biomes it spawns in (assuming you don't just find a brewing stand in a village).

What are you talking about, DisarmedRoom250? I make potions in the nether all the time. You just need a cauldron and a water bucket...

Yes, if you can make some thing that use cobblestone with blackstone, why not brewing stands and all the other items that use cobblestone, it's inconsistent with all the stone tools being able to craft with blackstone, you deserve more votes and shares than you are currently getting.
