Reduce Minecraft Java Edition's price

Minecraft is a game for kids, and most kids won't have enough money to buy this game since Minecraft costs $26.95, and I doubt that their parents would willingly to buy for them this game. I'm not saying that Minecraft needs to be 100% free, but the price really needs to be reduce. Plus, Minecraft is coming to schools, and most schools that choose Minecraft as a subject will likely can't afford to buy this game.

    mc pocket edition costs like $7 USD and most kids are going to have a phone or tablet.

    $26 is a superb price compared to some 60 dollar games with only an hour or two of gameplay, not even considering that Minecraft gets free updates almost every year.

    I posted about this about a week ago and the post was removed, they aren't going reduce the price of either version. but i agree not only will most parents be unwilling to purchase a game that's 30 dollars, why charge that much for an 11 year old game in the first place.

    I think you should just make minecraft java edition absolutely free because in places around the world buying a video game for $30 might get you in trouble and there are a few cases where by kids Stoll their parents credit cards to buy minecraft

    definately... need to reduce the price, we are a middle class family and are living in INDIA as the rate of usd to inr it costs 2000 - 2020 inr( depending on the rate of usd ) to buy minecraft.... and as my parent's pov it is very much costly. And beacause of all this, I need to play minecraft on TLauncher which does not allow me to enjoy the premium feel of playing on HYPIXEL SERVER'S......

    Pleaseee Reduce the price for java Its been at least 1 year since I wanted I but ITs too much money My parents and siblings don't want to buy it for me.. And most of my friends have java i cant play with them because their parents don't want to buy Minecraft bedrock PLZZZ JUST REDUCE THE PRICE TO ATLEAST 17$ Or sum
