my idea is to be able to create a wooden totem, useless alone but after pairing it with a potion will get you special effects
example: after crafting the "Wooden Totem" and pairing it with a "Jump Boost" Potion instead of giving you the Jump boost effect it will do a different one let's call it "Fall totem" when the effect is on all your fall damage will go to the durability of the totem instead of your hearts, and when the totem is broken both of your totem and potion are gone and you have to Brew and craft other ones, and on and on
the effect will only trigger while holding the totem
another idea of how it could work is not by changing the effect put to control how you consume it, so you pair your totem with the potion and Right-click your totem to get the potion effect and when you are done click again to stop the potion and now you can use your potions when you need them and save the rest for later, but this idea is not that good since you brew 3 potions at a time and making potions is really easy so having other effects would be more Fun
