Call the End something different and replace endstone with a nicer looking block. The Ender Dragon could instead be the Red Dragon which was planned a long time ago or a new dragon. The End could be completely reworked, a bit like the Nether, with a cooler design and much harder. the Ender dragon is right now a bit too easy to beat so the new dragon could be more difficult. The End right now doesn't seem like the end. The new End can be completely different with cool structures and with the final boss, the Ender Dragon. The Ender Dragon could be extremely difficult and very hard to defeat.
The reward for killing it could be a portal to another new dimension which is just another Minecraft world but with different terrain and blocks. Each time you kill the dragon you unlock a new portal to an equally different world. Each world can be used as whatever you please. A place for new buildings, a fresh start, different themes, it's the player's choice. My idea for this was that it would be a bit like space travel. Instead of rockets and space travel, it is dimensions and portals. The new worlds won't have a big difference to the Overworld like the Nether but will be more like different versions of the Overworld.
I hope this gets noticed and at least considered. Not all of the aspects need to be used, it can even be completely different from my suggestions. Minecraft is awesome so whatever happens, people will enjoy.
