Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

quartz sand

Quartz sand is a new gravity block. It is made by crushing quartz in a crafting table. In real life quartz sand is used to make glass. This can provides much friendlier renewable method of obtaining glass then sand via wandering trader.

    According to Wikipedia:

    Quartz is used for coatings and floors, to make scientific optical devices but also to create the bulbs of halogen lamps. A very common but often ignored use is that quartz is reduced to very fine sand and used as a raw material to make glass.

    But how do you craft Quartz Sand??

    1 Nether Quartz ==> Quartz Powder

    4 Quartz Powder ==> Quartz Sand
