Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Blast furnace could melt normal blocks, like cobblestone, sand, stone.

Yes. It is so annoying having to smelt stone in a normal furnace to make stone bricks. But I know the reason this isn't in the game is to keep a purpose to the normal furnace even in end game.

As the other guy said. It would remove the use of the regular furnace. I would want all of the different furnaces to be useful in their own way. The regular furnace would become redundant without it being the exclusive furnace to melt normal blocks.
