Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Making Andesite with Packed Ice

Basalt in the 1.16 update can be created with Blue Ice, Lava and Soul Soil. Ok. Now, basalt is an extrusive rock, which means it forms and cools from lava in a fast speed, which also makes sense.

However, Andesite is another extrusive igneous rock in Minecraft, yet there is no way to create andesite in Minecraft (except crafting), and now that basalt, which is extremely similar to andesite, can be created, why not make Andesite be formed with Packed Ice, Lava and Soul Soil?
