Ok, so there's currently a way to get 3 of the 5 tiers for items in the Nether (Barring Netherite as that's currently the final tier), those being wood (warp Logs), Stone (Blackstone), and Gold (Gold). So I was thinking that there should be a way to access all the item tiers from inside the Nether, whilst still making them unique to the Nether. So for Iron level items, you could make it be something like Steel or Bronze, and they could be found in a block similar to the ancient Debris from which Netherite is obtained, which would lend further Credence to some sort of ancient civilisation. So what you'd do with the Steel/ Bronze block would to smelt it down and it'd give you the corresponding Ingot, which you'd then use for crafting the items like normally. As for the Diamond variant, you could use rubies, since it'd be a cool callback to the early days of Minecraft, plus Rubies are already red, so they'd fit the Nether theme well. Since these would be alternatives to their overworld counterparts, you could change their stats a little, to make it worthwhile obtaining them in such a harsh environment, so the steel/bronze items could have slightly/2x higher durability then Iron does, and the Ruby could be slightly less durable then diamond, but have higher enchantibility similar to Gold. As for where they could spawn, steel/Bronze could spawn in the soulsand valley biome, and Ruby could spawn near lava levels. Plus you can use these items to go into Nether Loot-tables.
