We can all agree that scaffolding is a great and helpful addition to the game and most people have used the blocks at least once in a minecraft world...
However, sometimes I've thought that scaffolding is annoying to maneuver through because of the simple but also tedious way you have to hold down space bar to climb slowly up or down vertical scaffolding. Sometimes you might fall through a branched-out scaffolding block by accidently thinking you were standing on the top surface but in reality you were still inside of it (hopefully you know what I'm talking about).
I believe that this can be fixed quite easily with a toggle feature, substituting the existing "holding-down-space-bar" function. Instead of having to use the hold crouch or spacebar function, I think that there should be a more simple "tap" of either button to move the player up/down 1 block of scaffolding per "tap".
This would resolve the issue of having to estimate which block you're on when transitioning from a main vertical tower to a branching-off horizontal scaffolding and also just make maneuvering around the blocks more clean and precise.
Obviously, there should still be that "holding-down-space-bar" function to be able to loop this animation, but also adding that extra precision to moving through the scaffolding blocks, I think, will give them a better feel and make them easier to use.
If you agree with this, it would be greatly appreciated if you voted this idea so then more people can see it!
