I'm pretty sure this is for a niche audience, but I would still love the freedom these modifications would provide. First of all, when making a noteblock song, your tempo is limited by repeaters to 75-85 (90?) BPM or 135-150 BPM. Common tempos like 100 BPM, 125 BPM, and anything higher than 150 BPM are too sped up or slowed down. I also mainly focus on the rock/metal genre, which means I encounter a lot of 32nd notes. These aren't possible to play on the 150 BPM tempo. Next are triplets, quintuplets, septuplets, etc. I mostly try to do prog metal, which usually has a lot of these triplet swings, but i'm limited to just dividing them into quadruplet patterns. This is a small issue but would help especially with drum beat making. Finally, the range of the noteblocks is nonsensical. Why F#? Why not E like a guitar, or C like a piano? Why must I be stopped at octave 1 or octave 6? There's like, 7-9 octaves on regular pianos. I'd like to propose a solution, however. A "Tempo Block" of sorts would fix the tempo limitation and triplet pattern by having any tempo (reasonable) you enter. As for the note scale, that's not too hard a fix, but I can understand if it would take time were any of my previous points considered.
