Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Waterlogged nether portal

As you just now introduced portal structures underwater in the 20w16a snapshot, I would find it nice if you could light the portals underwater and have the portal blocks be waterlogged. This would be great for underwater bases and would generally make the portal structures that generate under water make more sense
