Idea:
Trapdoors made from the various stone varieties in the same vein as the wooden ones. So stone (and blackstone), cobblestone, andesite, granite and diorite. Maybe brick, and nether brick variants too.
Reasoning:
1. Gives a more natural look and feel to mountains and paths while giving the ability to hide lighting in rock palette heavy without having to use carpet, leaves or leaving awkward gaps in walls.
2. Gives the ability to add a lot of texture and height variance in builds, make a cobble stone road that actually makes you bump up and down. Make the top of a block look worn down by having it be stone on top and look like cobble stone on the sides. Or sides of blocks in a river look like they've been weathered while the tops are still rough.
Recipe: Can be the same as wood (so 6 sideways blocks for 2) or when using a stonecutter a 1 to 1 ratio can be available.
