fire rock is a common rock that can be found in basalt delta, it generally spawns near lava lakes and it spawns like in groups like sea pickle in maximum of 4. It looks like it is somewhat burning and resembles slightly of magma block

You can mine it and you don't need silk touch to get it but it has a 20% chance to explode, of course a silk touch pickaxe makes it 0%

If you step on it, it explodes.

Fire rock can also be thrown and when it hits, it explodes.

When it does explodes it has a firepower of half that of a ghast, and it will also create fire, if it explodes in groups of 4 it would be twice as strong as that of ghast they can only make chain reaction if they are on groups of 4.

You can also use it as a fuel source, equal or above coal.
