A distraction mechanism with food for the piglins

I take advantage of the arrival of the nether update to propose this idea for the piglins the new people of nether. My idea would be to be able to distract the piglins for a limited time in order to be able to search their chests without being attacked by the piglins. To distract the piglins we can give them port meat (since it hunts hoglins) so that the piglin eats it for a period of 10 or 15 seconds (you decide the duration). During this time the player will be able to take advantage of it to search the chests present in the bastion. The player can give the port meat by throwing it at him, the piglin will pick it up and eat it.

    I like this idea a lot, however I think it would make more sense to throw gold at Piglins to distract them. During the period where Piglins are admiring whatever shiny object they picked up, they would ignore the player rummaging through their bastions.

    I like the food idea perhaps in a separate function, but I just saw a suggestion to have piglins dance to the new pigstep CD & I think that would be a much better distraction for limited periods of time or as I noted on the other post, to have a status bar showing how distracted or aggro/calm the piglins are. If they see others dancing and/or hear the music they will become distracted but may be increasingly more aggro as they see or hear you rummage through their chests.

    These distractions of music, gold, possibly food can be different layers of your technique to infiltrate the bastions.
