    You can use tridents as both a melee and a ranged weapon.

    Bedrock Trident Drowned will stack their natural melee damage with the weapon's base damage (possibly buffed with enchantments as well), whereas Java Drowned only ever has ranged damage, making the mob somewhat easier in comparison.

    Though I do also want Java's throwing range (~20 block radius) be implemented into Bedrock (~5-10 block radius).
